Dark Days Continues
The galaxy has changed.
The Republic has fallen. The Jedi Order has been shattered. The Clone Wars are over, but peace has not followed.
Instead, the Galactic Empire has risen.
And Star Wars: Dark Days continues.
We are pleased to announce that Dark Days has moved to its new dedicated NOVA site, giving the game a home of its own as we continue the story already underway.
This is not a reboot.
The characters, relationships, choices and consequences that have shaped the story so far remain part of our continuity. Everything that has happened matters, and the storyline will continue from where we left it.
A Galaxy in Transition
It is 18 BBY, and the Empire is still young.
There is no Rebel Alliance. There is no organised galactic rebellion waiting to oppose Palpatine.
Not yet.
Instead, resistance exists in fragments. Senators question the direction of the new government. Former Republic loyalists struggle with what the Republic has become. Separatist remnants remain scattered across the galaxy. Criminals, bounty hunters and smugglers thrive in the uncertainty, while ordinary citizens learn what life under the Empire truly means.
And somewhere in the darkness, the surviving Jedi are being hunted.
The new site allows us to broaden Dark Days beyond a single ship or group and tell stories from across this changing galaxy.
The Wayfarer’s Promise will continue her journey with her crew.
The Galactic Empire will have stories of its own — from the military and Imperial Intelligence to the ISB and the Inquisitorius.
Senators, civilians, bounty hunters, freighter crews, criminals, diplomats and others all have a place within the game.
Some characters may eventually become rebels.
Others may remain loyal Imperials.
Some may simply be trying to keep themselves and the people they love alive.
And some may discover that the line between survival and resistance is much thinner than they thought.
The Story Continues
Moving to the new site gives us the opportunity to expand the galaxy around our existing characters without losing what we have already created together.
Old stories continue.
New stories begin.
New characters and perspectives can join them.
And, over time, the decisions made by our characters will help shape the path from the uncertain aftermath of the Clone Wars toward the conflict we know is coming.
The Empire believes the war is over.
The galaxy is about to discover otherwise.
Welcome to the new home of Star Wars: Dark Days.
The Republic is gone.
The Empire has risen.
The Rebellion has not yet begun.
But the story has.
