Personal Dossier
| Personal History | Born into a military family, Martius was destined to serve as an officer in the Fleet Navy. Once he was old enough, he was shipped off to military academies, to learn how to become the best officer in the fleet. Upon graduation from the primary and secondary academies, he enlisted into the Republic Naval Officer's Academy. Upon graduation, was assigned to a customs corvette, which was part of the fleet assigned to Jedi General Dass Jenner. Here he would lead his men and women in ensuring that the ships they stopped were not transporting any contraband. After proving his competence, he was moved to an electronics warfare corvette. He would serve the Republic with distinction here, as he intercepted several highly classified and encrypted communications between Separatist forces and traitorous Republic officers and Jedi. Learned to distrust all Jedi at this point. Becomes convinced that they are the reason that the war began, and why it has continued so long. Later, is assigned to a Fulgor Class Frigate and is tasked with hunting down any fleeing Jedi and members of the fledgling Rebellion. Soon earns the reputation of savagely destroying whole colonies in the pusuit of his orders. Earns the nickname, "Butcher of Bataan", after completely obliterating an entire moon full of civilians, which he claimed were hiding and conspiring with Rebel forces, while chasing down, and eliminating, three battaluons worth of enemy troops. During his time on the Menacer, which had stopped over at Chandrilla for resupply and a brief R&R, happened upon two teenagers in a wooded are of a park, late one night. As sometjing didn't feel right about the situation, he followed quietly behind, until he saw sometning that filled him with rage. The boy was going to bury the girl (whom Martius learned later had raped and severely beaten the girl) alive and cover his tracks. That was when Martius intervened, tackling the boy to the ground, calling local security and saving the girl. Afterwards, with his testimony, the boy was sentanced to prison for life. The girl, Felicia Matthers, along with her parents, became steadfast friends with the young lieutenant. Martius soon became Felicia's sponsor in her continued schooling, which also began to include self defence and small arms classes. Though his duties soon took him away from Chandrilla, Martius stayed in touch, unaware that as young Felicia grew older, she became more and more attracted to him. He would then move on to a Dreadnought Class Heavy Cruiser. This would be his shortest assignment, as during the Battle of the Twin Suns, his commanding officer allowed the ship to fall into a trap set by the Rebels. The ship was destroted and most of the crew was either csptured or killed. In a daring move, he led a group of commandos, filled in a Lambda class shuttle, to one of the Rebellion crusiers, under the guise of surrendering. After a suprise blitzkrieg style assault, he managed to gain control of the cruisor and eliminate the two frigates that were in the ambush group. The tactical information gained from the cruiser proved beyond useful. The Emperor, himself, congratulated him, promoting him to Admiral on the spot and giving him command of his own Star Destroyer. Also, during the attack, he was nearly killed by the fleeing Jedi, but was saved by a young medical officer, Ensign Genevia Linsbo. She quickly stabilized him, saving his life. As they started to spend time together on the Ravager, they realized that they were deey attracted to one another. It soon became a quiet affair, spending time witb one another whenever they could, growing deeper in love with one another each day. At this point, Felicia came back into his life. She had finished her training as both a yeoman and body guard. She had also learned that Martius was now and Admiral, and as such, required a personal staff. Martius was suprised that he recieved an applicatiom for both Aide and Body Guard positions from one person. Feeling a bond of trust with Felicia, he accepted and had her report to the Ravager, to fill the slot of his personal aide and body guard Now, moving ever closer to his ultimate goals, he uses his powerful ship and highly trained crew, to continue to hunt down and eliminate the Empire's enemies. In the middle of 19BBY, Martius came to the rescue again. He recieved word that Genevia had been arrested and thrown into the brig of his own ship! After quickly getting the truth of the incident, he arrested the true culprit and released Genevia, clearing her service file of all charges. In the early weeks of 18BBY, Martius was given new orders from the Emperor himself. Martius was to take aboard a group of Sith Inquisitors and begin hunting for any of the traitorous Jedi that managed to escape the Order 66 cleansing. He was also told, that he would be reporting directly to the Emperor, and working in tandem with Lord Vader during this hunt. One of the Inquisitors, Third Sister, would later betray the Empire during one of her missions. Martius was very glad when he was able to capture her and deliver her, alive, to the Emperor. In recognition of his accomplishment, Martius was granted the first Imperial Star Destroyer, that was built in the infamous Kuat shipyard, to replace his aging, Old Republic cruiser. He christened his new vessel with the same name of his former, Ravager. Once his crew had settled snd space trials were completed, Martius resumed hunting for the most dangerous foes in the galaxy....Jedi. |
