Leadership (Wayfarer's Promise)
The Leadership Team of the Wayfarer
Captain Master of the Wayfarer’s Promise and final authority aboard ship. Responsible for the safety of the vessel and crew, accepting contracts, determining destinations and making final decisions when the crew cannot reach agreement. First Mate Second-in-command of the Wayfarer’s Promise. Assists the Captain with the day-to-day running of the ship, coordinates the crew and assumes command whenever the Captain is absent or incapacitated. Master-at-Arms Responsible for shipboard security, weapons readiness and the protection of the crew, passengers and cargo. Coordinates the crew's response to hostile boarders or other security threats and advises the Captain on security matters. Navigator Responsible for plotting the Wayfarer’s course through hyperspace and realspace, maintaining navigational data and identifying safe or advantageous routes. Advises the Captain on routes, hazards, travel times and alternative destinations. Lead Engineer Senior engineer responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of the Wayfarer’s Promise. Oversees engineering work, sets maintenance priorities and advises the Captain when the ship's condition affects operational decisions. Quartermaster Manages stores, supplies, cargo space and inventory. Oversees provisioning and keeps track of what the ship acquires, consumes, transports and sells. -

Commanding Officer Captain of the IS Ravager and ultimate authority aboard the vessel. Responsible for the ship, its crew, military operations and execution of Imperial orders. Executive Officer Second-in-command. Oversees the day-to-day operation of the Ravager, coordinates its departments and assumes command in the Commanding Officer's absence. Second Officer Third officer in the ship's command structure. Supports the Captain and Executive Officer and may coordinate shipboard operations or assume command when required. Chief of the Boat Senior enlisted representative aboard the Ravager. Advises command on discipline, morale, training and matters affecting the enlisted crew. -

The Crew of the Wayfarer's Promise
Pilot Flies the Wayfarer’s Promise during routine operations, atmospheric flight, docking, combat and other hazardous manoeuvres. Works closely with the Navigator and engineering crew to ensure the ship can safely undertake the required flight plan. Ship's Medic Provides medical care to the crew and passengers, maintains the ship's medical supplies and handles injuries, illness and emergencies while away from established medical facilities. Comm and Systems Specialist Maintains communications, sensors and computer systems. Handles transmissions, monitors local traffic, assists with electronic countermeasures and keeps the ship's information systems operational. Engineer Maintains and repairs the vessel's mechanical, electrical and technical systems under the Lead Engineer. Engineers may specialise while still assisting with general repairs. Gunslinger Armed crew member who protects the Wayfarer, its people and its interests away from the controls. May guard cargo, accompany shore parties, provide personal protection or deal with trouble when negotiations fail. Cook Manages the galley and preparation of meals while helping maintain the ship's communal living spaces and provisions. On a small vessel, the role often includes general crew duties when not working in the galley. Ship Family Member Family member -

Chief Operations Officer Coordinates the Ravager's routine shipboard operations and ensures its departments, resources and personnel function as an effective whole. Operations Officer Manages watches, internal operations and allocation of shipboard resources under the Chief Operations Officer. Navigation Officer Responsible for astrogation, hyperspace calculations and navigational planning. Advises command on routes, hazards and tactical movement. Helm Officer Controls the Ravager's movement during normal flight, manoeuvring, docking and combat operations. Communications Officer Oversees internal and external communications, encrypted Imperial transmissions and communications security. Sensor Officer Operates and interprets the Ravager's sensor systems, tracking vessels, planetary activity and potential threats. -

Chief Tactical Officer Responsible for the Ravager's offensive and defensive combat systems and advises the Captain during engagements. Weapons Officer Coordinates turbolasers, point-defence weapons and other shipboard armaments during combat. Fire-Control Officer Manages targeting solutions and coordinates individual weapons batteries against assigned targets. Deflector Control Officer Oversees shields and defensive systems, balancing protection against tactical and engineering requirements. -

Chief Engineer Responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of the Ravager's propulsion, power and mechanical systems. Assistant Chief Engineer Deputy to the Chief Engineer and responsible for coordinating engineering watches and repair teams. Engineering Officer Supervises technical personnel and maintains assigned shipboard systems. Damage Control Officer Coordinates emergency repair teams, fire suppression, hull-breach response and damage-control operations during emergencies. Systems Engineer Maintains specialised electrical, computer, power-distribution and control systems throughout the vessel. -

Chief Security Officer Responsible for internal security, detention facilities, access control and investigation of crimes or security breaches aboard the Ravager. Security Officer Conducts patrols, investigations, prisoner handling and protection of sensitive areas aboard ship. Master-at-Arms Senior security specialist responsible for weapons control, security readiness and enforcement of shipboard regulations. Brig Officer Oversees prisoners, detention facilities and prisoner transfers aboard the vessel. -

Chief Medical Officer Senior medical authority aboard the Ravager and responsible for its medical facilities and personnel. Medical Officer Provides diagnosis, treatment, emergency medicine and routine healthcare to Imperial personnel. Medic/Corpsman Provides frontline and emergency medical treatment aboard ship or during deployed operations. Surgeon Medical specialist responsible for surgical treatment and serious battlefield injuries. -

Stormtrooper Detachment Commander Commands the stormtrooper forces assigned to the Ravager and reports to the ship's senior command. Stormtrooper Officer Commands stormtrooper units during shipboard security, planetary operations and combat deployments. Stormtrooper Elite Imperial infantry deployed for boarding actions, planetary operations, security duties and enforcement missions. Scout Trooper Specialist trained for reconnaissance, rapid movement and operations ahead of conventional Imperial forces. Commander, Air Group Senior officer responsible for all starfighters, pilots and flight operations assigned to the Ravager. Squadron Commander Commands one of the Ravager's embarked starfighter squadrons and is responsible for its pilots, readiness and missions. Flight Leader Leads a flight of starfighters during combat, reconnaissance, escort and patrol operations. TIE Pilot Flies Imperial starfighters on patrol, interception, escort, reconnaissance and combat missions. Deck Officer Supervises hangar-deck operations, aircraft movement, refuelling, rearming and maintenance activity. Flight Operations Officer Coordinates launches, recoveries and flight schedules from the Ravager's extensive hangar facilities Deckhand Works in hangar-deck operations, aircraft movement, refuelling, rearming and maintenance activity. -

Interrogation Officer Conducts questioning and interrogation of prisoners, suspects and intelligence targets.
